BLUEBERRY SMOOTHIE BOWL
Dessert for breakfast..?! Yes please!
This smoothie bowl is the most refreshing treat that you could ever have for breakfast. It is delicious, it is fulfilling and topped with some granola and almond butter it gives you a great deal of slow release energy. Plus it is super easy to make. All you need is a bunch of frozen blueberries and bananas and a food processor. This recipe serves two.
- 2 large frozen Bananas, sliced
- 1 cup frozen Blueberries
- 1 scoop Protein Powder
- 3/4 cup Soy Milk
- 1 tsp Maple Syrup
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 cup All-Natural Granola
- 2 tbsp Almond Butter
Remove frozen fruits from the freezer and let sit at room temperature for around 5 minutes. Add to the food processor, and process on high, along with the rest of the ingredients. Use a spatula to scrape down the sides of the jug and process again till smooth and creamy and thoroughly mixed through.
Transfer into two bowls. Top with a 1/4 cup of your favourite granola and a tablespoon of almond butter.
