GOLDEN MILK SMOOTHIE
This smoothie is the biggest piña colada-ish, anti-inflammatory bomb!! Not only is it really delicious but it is packed with anti-inflammatory compounds from pineapple and turmeric. The coconut milk adds a great toast-y flavour, and the perfect amount of creaminess for that decadent, comfort food feel. Fresh cardamom coupled with saffron, add the precise fragrance. Let’s just say it classifies as my healthy guilty pleasure, which i never thought was even possible!!!!
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
- 2 pitted medjool dates
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 4 cardamom pods, seeds extracted
- A fat pinch of Saffron
Blend and chug! Literally that simple.
